- David Willing has been studying and working as a writer/ director/ cinematographer/ editor since 1992 on short films, features, TVC's and music video. His graduation film at Deakin University Rusden, Disintegration, a portrait of a sociopath received the highest honour of the year and screened Longford Cinema, Eye Candy 2000 and Muff 2000 His professional debut as a writer/director Collier Brothers Syndrome, a 19 minute short depicting two brothers suffering mental illness shows his ability to direct subtle drama. It premiered at St Kilda film festival, was purchased by SBS’ and awarded Best Sound Design for a short by the Australian Screen Sound Guild. He has written 3 feature films including The Gypsy Heart which has been selected for development through Film Victoria.
